Battle emerges between Ho-Chunk and City - 2004-02-08
City officials state that the Ho-Chunk Nation did not succeed in submitting requested documents by Friday showing that the profit sharing agreement the tribe signed with Madison would be legally binding.

Dane County voters will be asked in a vote Feb. 17 whether they support including such games as blackjack and craps to the venue.
Lisa Pugh, spokeswoman for the Coalition for the Fair Indian Gaming and Revenue Sharing Agreements, referred inquiries regarding the legal matters to Ho-Chunk attorney Tom Springer, who could not be contacted for comment.
