The Hole in the Wall Hotel has 10 blackjack tables, 320 slot machines and a trailer park in the back of the woods. Don’t forget to try the $2 shrimp cocktails in the "Loose Change Cafe.”
The casino is operated by the 1,000-member St. Croix band of the Chippewa Indians.
In Connecticut’s Danbury, with its population of 75,000 and site in chic Fairfield County, people don’t appear to care much for casinos. The Schaghticoke Tribal Nation, based in Kent, has looked at constructing a casino in Danbury.
