Stanley Has Huge Giveaway - 2004-02-03
The UK's largest casino operator Stanley Leisure today publicized the launch of a free entry casino tournament on the Internet where winners can take home their share of $/€18, 650 (£12, 500) in cash.

Players have the option of entering two tournaments per week for five weeks across both casinos and play any casino game featuring favourites like Blackjack, Roulette, Video Poker, Casino Stud Poker and more.

Firm declares exclusive rights on computer Solitaire - 2004-02-03
Over on the Web site of A Shareware Life, there's a report about a company being hauled over the coals by a lawyer declaring that a patent on card game Solitaire is being violated.

This particular patent, which you can see here, is really a patent for playing games on a network and a multitude of games are mentioned, such as blackjack, poker, craps, roulette and baccarat.
