This East Coast gambling mecca once had the market surrounded on slot machines, blackjack and roulette. For over 15 years, it was considered the only game in town.
Then Connecticut launched two casinos and Delaware included slot machines at racetracks, disfiguring Atlantic City's core constituency of day-tripping seniors from the Northeast.
