Most Iowans are against more gambling - 2004-02-16
Most Iowans feel the state is not in need of any more gambling.
That's according to the Des Moines Register's copyright Iowa Poll that indicates 60 percent of the state's adults are against a rise in the number of casinos in Iowa.
The poll demonstrates a majority of Iowans do back the inclusion of table games, like blackjack and poker, at racetrack casinos in Altoona, Dubuque, and Council Bluffs.
