How should I play with my children?
It sounds awful, but I find it really difficult to do. My mother wore heels on a daily basis and sat on the floor to play with us only once when we were children and yet here I am, repeating these mannerisms. Except I wear sneakers.
If you enjoy playing cards but don't like to play fish, teach your children the rudiments of solitaire or even blackjack, but don't invite them to play card games -- or any games -- that you don't like.
