Outkast takes home Party Of The Year Grammy - 2004-02-10
Big Boi was missing when Outkast won their first award of the evening at the Grammys. He was actually on his way to the Staples Center.
Right outside, on the tent-covered outdoor basketball court that acted as a dance floor, Paula Abdul attempted to squeeze her tiny frame through the crowd to the gambling tables off to the side. There was, Prince's ex, Apollonia, who could be found playing blackjack. As DJ Mark Ronson spun records like Usher's "Yeah" and Twista's "Slow Jamz," all people at the crunk table, including the dealer, threw their hands in the air.

Wireless gambling at Motile - 2004-02-10
As they brought in Chinese New Year, James Wong and his workers did plenty of rejoicing. His fledgling business, Motile Interactive System, spent last fall converting the stuff that lures gamblers -- roulette, blackjack, keno, craps -- into interactive games on cellular phones.

Wong, a 17-year professional of Nortel Networks, feels these rypes of mobile games will wow them in Asia. Wong reveals he's already lined up a well-connected partner who will try to root out interest in his product in China, with its 269 million cellphone users.
