No-Peek

In European blackjack and in countless Internet casinos the dealer doesn't vefiry for a blackjack after dealing the cards. This is known as the 'no-peek' rule, because the dealer doesn't peek to see if he has a blackjack.
In this case, once the players have played their hands, if the dealer does have a blackjack, then the player loses the complete amount bet, including the additional bet if the player doubled or split.

Former State Officials Join Endorsement Of Casino Gambling - 2004-01-09
A state official and four previous state officials have joined a group in support of casino gambling.

The new casino boosters were revealed. The pro-casino group is encouraging a "yes" vote on a Feb. 17 referendum, which will ask Dane County voters if they want expanded gambling - featuring blackjack, roulette and poker - at the bingo hall on Madison's Southeast Side.
