Ho-Chunk Nation takes a chance on voters - 2004-01-30
Blackjack! Jackpot! Such words of bettors may soon echo throughout Dane County if locals vote "yes" on the upcoming Ho-Chunk casino vote Feb. 17.

Four bingo centers and three casinos are currently located on close to 10,000 acres of tribally owned land in Wisconsin, and if local residents authorize a fourth casino in Madison, participating Indian tribes could generate substantial economic advantages.

Starkweather, who rents out blackjack and craps tables for entertainment reasons, stated that business is great for Super Bowl weekend because of the parties.
