Vegas' Props Helps Reckless Have More Fun - 2004-01-29
It's almost as bulky as the Old Testament, and just as weighed down with peril for the unwise.
It's the booklet of wagering propositions -- "props" -- on the Super Bowl distributed each year by Las Vegas casinos.

At least 30 people are expected to be present.
"There are just so many props put up for the Super Bowl -- hundreds, even thousands -- that some are bound to have value for bettors," Wong insisted in a phone interview this week following his return from the World Series of Blackjack at the Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut.

Atlantic City questions up coming slot plans - 2004-01-29
At one time, the name of the game here was "Monopoly", but that may soon change to "Survivor."
This East side gambling center at one time had control of the market for slot machines, blackjack tables and roulette parlors. It was at one time comparable to the only game in town for over a decade.

But later, Connecticut launched two casinos, and Delaware began integrating slot machines at racetracks, biting away at Atlantic City's core voters of day-tripping seniors from the Northeast.
