Fountains of agony - 2004-01-29
Walking through Texas Station the other day, I indicated to an associate that I don't gamble. This isn't a huge deal, really, as lots of people living in Las Vegas don't gamble.
But then I mentioned something that surprised this colleague--and sort of surprised me a little, too. I told him that I had never sat down at a blackjack table and placed a wager. It's a strange thing. I'm not especially proud of it or ashamed by it.
