Albert Isernio, who federal officials report masterminded the Nassau County insurance scandal, has agreed to confess leading the scheme and plead guilty to conspiring to bribe a Nassau County official and defraud the county, according to sources informed about the case.
During the income-tax evasion trial, Isernio admitted that he was a gambler who carried major amounts of money and wagered thousands of dollars on hands of blackjack.
