"Vegas Bowl" takes place at Holy Family School - 2004-01-26
Steve Dumbleton, Erin Weaver, Kip Vescovi and Heather Costello ready for the Holy Family School's "Vegas Bowl" which will be planned on Saturday, January 31st.
The group is coordinating an evening of blackjack, roulette, poker, the money wheel and various games of chance. The activity will occur at the school, located at 44 Lake Street in Le Roy from 6:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

AG passes measure for non-Indian slot machines - 2004-01-26
Proponents making an effort to end Indian tribes' monopoly on slot machines moved a step closer to having their measure on the ballot Monday, but police chiefs promised to battle the plan that would extend gambling across the state.

It follows several unsuccessful legal challenges to the tribes' monopoly on slot machines, though the card rooms can feature table games such as poker and blackjack.
