Casino Could Do Wonders For Kenosha Economy - 2004-01-22
A proposed casino, hotel and entertainment center at Dairyland Greyhound Park in Kenosha would end in 4,700 to 6,000 new jobs in the region and have an annual economic impact of over $500 million.
According to the study, the gaming operation would hire 2,500 to 3,500 workers with an annual payroll of $70 million to $80 million. Games would feature slot machines, table games like blackjack, craps and poker, and pari-mutuel betting on live and simulcast racing.
