Bannishment On Blacklisted Blackjack Cheat Removed - 2004-01-21
A man who was found cheating at Resorts International Casino shortly less than month since it opened in 1978 has won the right to wager again in Atlantic City.

Allen Perlman, 56, of Allentown, Pa., pleaded guilty to cheating at blackjack by placing bets once the cards were dealt.
On Wednesday, the state Casino Control Commission agreed to remove his name from the blacklist.

9% Increase In Casinos' Revenue - 2004-01-21
The three riverboat casinos that function in the Greater Cincinnati market brought in 9 percent more revenue in 2003 than they did in 2002.

Slot machines make up for the bulk of both the total amount of money gambled and the casinos' gross winnings from betting. In 2003, slots generated $574 million, while table games like blackjack, poker and roulette brought in $110 million.
