Mazatzal Casino launched live blackjack tables in its previous poker room. Six tables commenced operating between 10 a.m. and 2 a.m. The new game resulted in additional training for 18 casino employees. "They could now go to 100 different places around the country to work," stated Jim Gannarelli, chief executive officer and operator of the casino.

State softens regulation on show of licenses - 2004-01-02
The Mississippi Gaming Commission will no longer make it mandatory for casino employees to wear gaming licenses that include their full names.

Larry Gregory, executive director of the Gaming Commission, disclosed an industry letter on Wednesday, a day after Cathy Netto, a blackjack dealer at Grand Casino Gulfport, offered a petition signed by over 250 co-workers requesting that employees no longer show their badges.
