Woman starts 2004 with $1,000 lottery win - 2004-01-02
Teleflora worker Janice Qualls is starting the new year the right way, with a $1,000 prize from a $10 Missouri Lottery scratcher ticket.
Qualls, who has played the lottery since its commencement in 1986, stated she had never won over $50 in the game at any one time.
With the pass, Qualls won the prize by playing the blackjack game on the ticket. Qualls stated that the card gave different options of games to play.
