New computer technology encourages handicapped man - 2004-01-19
When Jack Kavanaugh was paralysed in a car crash last March, he believed that surfing the Internet was one of the many things he’d never do again.
After just one month, he had become an expert at several computer games such as Blackjack, Battleship, Connect 4 and a variety of card games.
He is even able to write letters through word processing with the help of a modified onscreen keyboard. He also anticipates doing his own online banking.
