Once getting pointers on the recent equipment and new ranges of peppers and corn, the 22-year-old arrived on the casino floor.

Blackjack was the attraction, and the baby-faced Viereck had a seat at a $5 minimum wager table for the next 21/2 hours at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
