Feb. 17 Vote, DeJope Casino's First Proposal Disclosed - 2004-01-16
The Ho-Chunk Nation originally proposed $500,000 to Madison and Dane County school districts and proposed developing a public swimming pool in exchange for expanded gambling at DeJope Bingo Hall.

If DeJope is permitted to offer games like slot machines, blackjack and poker, the city and county will each be granted a minimum payment of roughly $3.5 million a year, indefinitely, under a deal between the city, the county and the tribe.
