Gambling curriculum will have hearing - 2004-01-16
The state College Board on Thursday invited the universities to its February meeting with programs and courses that could be given to assist the casino industry.
A 1997 attorney general's opinion states that a public school or college is prohibited from teaching or training people to work in a position specific to the gaming industry, like a blackjack dealer, a casino manager or supervisor, or a manufacturer or technician.
