Casino manager or blackjack dealer: Degree programs pursued by USM, Alcorn - 2004-01-15
The University of Southern Mississippi and Alcorn State University are intending to request that the state College Board next month authorize new degree programs related to casino management.

A 1997 attorney general's opinion states that a public school or college cannot teach or train people to work a specific job to the gaming industry, like blackjack dealer, a slot machine mechanic, a casino manager or supervisor, or a manufacturer or repairer of equipment.
