Gambling returns to casino boat at Savannah riverfront - 2004-01-14
It's been a decade since the last casino boats folded on Savannahs River Street. Now a new operation is prepared to roll the dice.

Manager partner Jim Monaghan stated that the boat will include 325 slot machines and live gambling at black jack, craps, roulette and poker tables, as well as sports betting through satellite feed.

Police cease burglary at tractor dealership - 2004-01-14
Two cautious citizens stopped thousands of dollars in farm equipment from being stolen from a Baldwin business over the weekend.

Two of the men were inevitably caught in the Black Jack Battlefield area east of Baldwin. The fifth man was arrested Monday once showing up at the Baldwin City Police Department to get his truck, which had been towed after it had been discovered on the weekend abandoned in Wellsville.
