Game Network Gets New Name - 2004-01-14
Game Show Network will become GSN The Network for Games on March 15 (at 10 p.m., if you're making a mark on your calendar).

Other GSN titles launching the week of March 15 include "Kenny vs. Spenny," a Canadian import in which two young best friends torture each other in weird real-life competitions, and "World Series of Blackjack," being taped later this month at Mohegan Sun.

Badges No Longer Required By Casino Employees - 2004-01-14
The Mississippi Gaming Commission will no longer make it mandatory for casino employees to wear gaming licenses that display their full names.

Larry Gregory, executive director of the Gaming Commission, issued an industry letter on Wednesday, a day after Cathy Netto, a blackjack dealer at Grand Casino Gulfport, handed in a petition signed by over 250 co-workers requesting that employees no longer wear their badges.
