Proposal substitutes bingo with slots - 2004-01-12
The Ho-Chunk Nation's suggestion to expand a bingo hall into a casino would remove the 1,200-seat bingo hall to make space for hundreds of slot machines.

Dane County residents will vote in a Feb. 17 election on expanded gambling at DeJope Bingo Hall, offering games such as slot machines, blackjack, poker and roulette.

Latest resort creates a splash in A.C. - 2004-01-12
The slot machines at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa don't accept coins. In addition, they have footrests built in, for comfort reasons.

But younger gamblers seem to favor blackjack and other table games, so Borgata developed its casino to accommodate 175 tables.
