Casino expansion would exclude bingo hall - 2004-01-10
Bingo will be omitted at DeJope if it establishes a casino because the 1,200-seat bingo hall will be substituted with slot machines.

Dane County locals will vote in a Feb. 17 election on expanded gambling at DeJope, permitting Class III style games like slot machines, blackjack, poker and roulette.

Eventually, table games like blackjack and poker might be included, Cleveland stated.

Watch out sharks: Casinos are watching you - 2004-01-10
Shortly after Kevin Lewis sat down at a high-stakes blackjack table at an Atlantic City casino last summer, the pit boss received word that Lewis was a card counter.

Soon after, Lewis bailed out.

If anyone knows it's Lewis, who manages to play blackjack occasionally in Las Vegas.
"It's a cat-and-mouse game," he stated. "The mice find ways to make it work."
